I have decided to buy a new engine to my 20´open powerboat.
My proposal is to choose a 40 hp 2-stroke engine because of is low
weight and moderate price. But what brand? Suggestions?

Johnson or Evinrude would be my pick

Nomad is right on. I hear Merc has a small engine you might look at.

We sell Evinrude, Johnson and Nissan. I'd be glad to sell you one of ours. However, I think you should buy a brand that has a local service shop.
