ya upgrade them,,, and they'll be able to refine, faster, cheaper, and twice as much oil,,,,there goes all that was left. cheaper oil prices= we can afford to use more,, faster refining= we can use more faster,,refining more= we can use more faster at twice the rate we use to.
10 years down the road,,,,,,here we sit again.

so my Cigarette 42 with 3 572ci engines is out of the question then...
So driving it between a couple of dodgy countries here it will no longer be full of contraband, the contraband will just be the fuel!

sell now before it is illegal to own one

Singapore has plenty of cash and a few crooked countires around here have a bit of oil and plenty of gas..so things get sorted here very quickly and easily.
We are paying SGD2.00 for a litre of petrol, its cheaper in Australia as we/they are a net exporter of energy..we/they need a bit of oil these days but half the world runs with our/their gas.
Its even cheaper in Malaysia as its a bit corrupt and even cheaper in Indo as they are more corrupt.
Come to think of it, is this a plot by the 1st world to stick it to the 3rd world?

no ,,war is not the answer, the japanees said next time we invade US it will be through the back door, our biggest auto makers now are Japanees, who by the way are nice to work for as opposed to GM and Ford, its about the money ,,all war is fought for gold,in one form or another,,,,longliner

true but...last time they came it was for resources not access to markets which is what you need after you industrialise.
Now this thread is about the basic resource of industrialised nations and some that are trying to industrialise and are now all fighting to get a shrinking finite resource.
