Looking for a boat builder in Riau, Indonesia for 26 ft wooden sailing craft

    Dear fellow members,

    I am based in Singapore and would love to own a wooden sailing boat to cruise the Riau's.

    I am currently sourcing for a good boat builder in the Riau Archipelago building at competitive prices.

    I would be very thankful for any recommendations.

    The boat should be between 7.50 and 8.50 meters or about 26 feet long. A Western design would be preferred but a good local design would also be an option.

    Does anyone have an idea how much the whole project would cost in Indonesia? If someone could get me an idea regarding the single costs for woods, construction, sails even better.
