Does anyone know the estimated annual expense for Maintenance Costs for different hull materials?

    Example:
50’ Steel Boat you can expect to pay $10, per foot (50') $500 x 12months $6,000.00 annually in hull maintenance/upkeep

    Vs

    Fiberglass

well, I am happy to suggest that about 10% of the value of the boat would go in maintenance (assuming that you intend to do it correctly and in time).

I see no difference in original build materials for well constructed vessels, the costs seem to average out about the 10% mark.
