    Hi all
    Will apprechate if any one can clerefy the conversion of moment of inertia 2024 barge roll units from cm^2 – m^2 to cm^4:
    ABS rules for classing and building steel barge
    3.2.1/5 - Long hull & deck girder standard strength

    The hull girder moment of inertia I amidships is to be not less than obtained from the following equation:
    I = 0.03SMRL cm^2 – m^2.
    I = 0.03 x 0.131 x 38.4 = 0.151 cm^2 – m^2 = ? cm^4
    Where:
    L = length of barge as defined in 3-1-1/3
    SMR = hull girder section modulus required for the barge per 3-2-1/3.1, in cm2-m.
    Thank you
