can anyone one help for manu. layout

    hello guys,
    we just planning to make new boat building yard from 17' to 45'. so now we working on the layout of manu. plant. can anyone help me out or give some layout suggetions or links? if so then it's highly appreciated.

    Hard to give suggestions with the info given. Are you building 1 boat a year, or 2000? Make a slight difference. Also the site itself will restrict things.

    Get the routing of boats, materials and workers right. Offices can be put anywhere you want.

    Also get the routing for suppliers right. Don't make them do funny things with trucks on your premises, driving over your car trying to get to the warehouse doors...

    Your best solution is to hire a foreman with experience. Experimenting on that scale will most likely bankrupt you.
