coat with pigmented epoxy a polyester part

    Hello!I want to coat with pigmented epoxy a polyester part straight of a mould!Which are the steps for doing it correctly without chipping epoxy? Thanks

    If the part requires UV resistance, it should have gel coat or quality paint over it.

    What are you expectations of this coating?


    Pigmented epoxy is a poor choice for just about any purpose, so it's of limited value.

    If I am using carbon fiber in a mold, I might use pigmented first coat in the mold to hide the carbon fiber. Example: rudder. But, I agree with your assessment otherwise.
