    hello,

I am looking for someone who could make hydrodynamics calculations (CFD) for a project of small motor boat (6m),it's a fiber glass planing hull.

if you are interested and want to give me a quote or make me an offer,
please contact me for more informations

If I may ask - are you sure that a CFD is necessary for your project? Unless it has some very special and unusual features, other less costly methods might deliver the results you need.
    Cheers

What specifically are you looking for? Resistance? Sinkage/trim? How many speeds, cgs, displacements? maneuvering? seas? Impossible to provide any insight without some idea of scope.

    more informations

    hello,

    Thank you for your replies!

    Not necessary a CFD,

I would like an efficient hull and especially without bad surprises

    when the sea is calm:

    -resistance
    -necessary power
    -maximum speed
-at what speed the boat start planing
-average trim obtained when the boat start planing

    waves:

    -performance in waves

I don't have any knowledge in hydrodynamic,
I prefer to entrust this to a specialist.
I have the models in 3d, and also necessary hydrostatic's informations

    ;)

    -resistance
    -necessary power
    -maximum speed
-at what speed the boat start planing
-average trim obtained when the boat start planing

that's I can calculate exactly by boat's data.
But I doubt that it's possible to calculate the boat for rough seas...

    Hi marlin974,
I could help with all the calculations, also with CFD's, but I need to know when you need the results. If you are not in a hurry, I could produce something. Currently I could not deliver before one month time.
    Hope it suits you.
    Cheers.
