    Hi,
    I have been working on a project based on stability of VLCC in damage condition, for analysis, I am using Maxsurf.
    I am facing this problem, which is for doing the analysis, I must add the lightship displacement, lcg and vcg of the vlcc. but from nowhere in internet I am getting these values other than lightship weight.

    what will be the probable VCG and LCG values for a VLCC having the dimensions as given below.
    Loa=333 m
    B =60 m
    moulded depth =32 m
    DWT =320000 T

    if you know the full load displacement then you must know what the deadweight she will be able to carry (otherwise why do stability on just lightship)..then just reverse engineer the values.

    Simple!
