Point score at the end of Day 3 attached. The video for three days seems to have remained available for now. Looks like the team with the best ability in really light conditions is getting the points.

Disappointing day in Singapore. I flew down from KL without checking the forecast.

An extreme sailing fishing competition might have been more exciting but I did get a good close look a pretty impressive cat.

yes it was light winds throughout that's for sure. Not too "extreme" still challenging for the crews but you miss out on the visual spectacle.

And where is the picture of the impressive cat?
I always enjoy seeing new multihull photos.

Next event is in Qingdao (2nd-5th May) long range forecast suggests about 18knots on the course so hopefully wont be a driftfest like Singapore.

The live broadcast of X40's sailing in Cardiff, Wales, starts in 20 minutes

    Extreme Sailing Series

Great weather forecast, sunny, 12-14 knots wind.

They're also supposed to be sailing in the bay tonight, so there must be some kind of illumination set up for that?

Cardiff Bay looks like a terrific location for a stadium race like this.

    ...

The Welsh Assembly apparently had a nice webcam overlooking the harbor, but it's been broken since last year! Vote them out of office, I say.

I thought this was Ernesto's 'Alternative to AC34 Extravaganza'?

The Youtube feed isn't working, on Youtube or the x40 site!

They've already held 5 races judging from the 'Live Text commentary' (I can't be bothered following that, though it certainly may fascinate their girlfriends and mothers).

Nor have the Welsh Assembly fixed their webcam, yet... So I checked on AIS to see if Ernesto's latest yacht is in the harbor, to call up and complain; But the only AIS yacht that showed up there is 'AQUAHOLIC of Bristol', can't waste my time calling him.

I dropped the garbage disposal (8kg) which I had ripped out from my kitchen sink yesterday, onto my big toe! It bled and hurt and I've been consoling myself that in my forced invalid condition today I could at least watch the X40's!

    No such luck.

    Ti'n Goc Oen, X40's.

    :p
