Catamaran work boats in rough seas

We see these workboats operating on windfarms, oil rigs etc way up north. But I can't find out how they manage if stuck in rough seas, like Beaufort 12. Does anybody know?

Not allowed.
For CTVs at least they tend to be limited to Hs=1.50m, in catamaran hull form.
They out run the weather, if it blows up, and they must issue a route plan for the daily sail before leaving harbour, i.e they check the weather before they go!

Unless you're hanging out in drake passage or sight seeing the wrong time of year at shemya.... how many days does it hit 12 and what's the likelihood that the boat will be there?

Thanks, checked them. They say force 9, but it's not clear if that's just their monohulls.
Their catamarans seem rather slim compared to the ones like the red one above. I guess that would make the easier to capsize, right?

I don't know what the odds are,, but we know that boats DO get caught in gales, and perfect storm waves.
Notice the new boat I posted above. They are half as wide, as they are long.

Sure they check the weather, but still, boats do get surprised sometimes , so I'm wondering how these wide catamarans would manage. There must be instances of rogue waves, gales hitting them. But I can't find any info.

Very very rarely.
They monitor the weather and issue ruote plans daily...and limited to Hs=1.50m.
You don't seem to understand this for some reason.
