www.thenavalarch.com launches the DNVRPC201 Linear Buckling Analysis of Stiffened Plate Panels

What does this spreadsheet do?

Performs linear buckling analysis of stiffened plate panels according to Part-1 of DNV-RP-C201
Also performs yield check for laterally loaded panels (Sec. 5 of RP-C201) and using von-Mises stress criteria (DNV-OS-C-101)
Valid for stiffeneed plate panels with continuous stiffeners
Valid for L and T sections (Bulb sections need to be converted to equivalent angle sections)

I assume you realise this is only valid for vessel > 50m?

Thanks for your comment. We looked through, but DNVRPC201 doesn't specify any such limits. Will you be able to inform us what's the reference for the 50 m limit?
