I'm building an 80 foot Cat and the drawings detail standing rigging as Nitronic 50, which I understand, but for the Martingale the drawing states (Martingale - 260 rod). I have search in internet but I'm stuck on this material; does any designer here know what 260 rod is?

-260 is the rod size, it means 260 000 lbs breaking strenght, wich corresponds to a diameter of 33.4mm Nitronic 50.

Jmarker, this sounds like a very interesting project - would you like to tell us more about it please, and include some photos of the boat?
