carpet

    hello,any suggestions on what to use to glue my carpet down with? 3-m spray adhesive or carpet glue out of a can? thanks.

    I just used the 3m stuff from a spray can to complete the recarpeting of a bulkhead repair job. Its a bit pricey, but holds very nicely, and is really convenient to use. I used a couple of cans on about a 40 sq ft area. With some strategically placed stainless staples, I think its a great repair.

    Pretty strong stuff to use in tight quarters, though. Can give you a pretty good buzz if you don't have the fans set up. Do not mix with alcohol, do not operate heavy machinery and the like. Your liver may require a good wringing out later.
