What is this boat? (~15ft cathedral hull)

Hi, I wonder if anyone can tell me what type of boat this is. It is approximately 15ft and has a cathedral hull.

 

I don't think it is from an Australian maker, never seen one here the same as that, looks to be a 70's style of thing. Not Bonito ? Something about that triangular window made me think that.

 

So what's with the stars & stripes decals. Could be an indication that it's an American design maybe.

Although I can't see a boat with those lines being commercially viable. Not the best looking boat around eh'.
Perhaps a home made job?

 

Likely to be a kiwi creation, maybe it sunk, or the OP couldn't be bothered replying.
