I have tried a variety of methods: unsteady, quasi-steady and a simple
method using added mass. The simple quasi-steady + added mass works as
well as anything, and is very fast.

Doctors et al *, showed very good agreement with experiments when using
an unsteady wave resistance method, but only at very low frequencies of
oscillation. For larger frequencies their model was different to the
    experiments by > 500%.
