Can I import a 2 stroke motor to CA from Australia?

    I just had a holiday up at Noosa. Infact when I get back from my year long sailing trip that is where we want to live. Well in the bush near there anyway around the lakes.

    Hi Dennis,

    I am in a similar situation - can you please let me know how it ended for you? I am also interested in a 2-stroke 9.8 Tohatsu to replace a 2000 model.

    Looks like Dennis hasn't been on here since 2/18. Guess he tried it and is spending his vacation in Guantanamo Bay? ;) :)

    the pull it apart and ship as parts sounds good saying that what laws are there in the Bahamas and Caribbean?

    So pull it apart and ship via UPS, DHL or Fed EX. If it is seperated then it is a box of parts which is usually less expensive if import duty becomes involved.
