free or low cost iges to dxf 3d mesh converter

    I am looking for a free or low cost .iges to .dxf 3d mesh converter.

    Any suggestions?

    You can try Moi3D it saves as a OBJ and STL for now is free, i don't think there is a (convenient "free" translator for iges to meshes), i mean you can download alibre xpress and should work (me thinks), or download Inventor LT is free for now and can save to different formats (including DXF).

    but if you are looking to use the DXF file for rendering, OBJ is the best way to go if your (rendering) software can read it.

    Also you can have a look at Polyloop.net there you can download amapi5 it reads iges files so it may work it saves a lot of formats

    low-cost, punchad viacad sales for 100 bucks and open and saves as many formats you may need great price for the support that can give you. and i think moi is going to be around that price maybe a little bit more but is just great for "dealing" with meshes.
