    Buy your boat now.

get a impressive discount of at least 50% today.

If you are in for a new boat, get it purchased now, or get it built for a fraction of the common cost!

Prime builders are willing to discount to a extreme extend, today.

Mass producers are not. A mass product has overhead cost.

When you are a prime customer (able to provide proof), purchase today. It does not get cheaper!

    Regards
    Richard

I bet the customers that paid full price will be pleased to see they have been robbed of 50% previously
    WTF is a prime customer?
Anyone that can place an order with the funding to complete?
Any free steak knives with that 50% off, 2 for the price of one, buy one get one free offer?

Being a businessman myself and schooled in finance (and a little marketing), I may be able to enlighten as to reasons for offering such a discount. (BTW, having seen Richard's product, such a discount is not to be taken lightly):
1.) Like it or not, the world economy is in a downturn. Though Germany is one of the last places to feel the effect, politics and other circumstances beyond one's control can affect everyone.
2.) Number one reason for offering a discounted finished product is caring what happens to employees - yes, it is going to sting a bit now to not make money, and again when the economy recovers and there are a few boaters out there that won't be needing one but keeping a stable and happy workforce will pay dividends far into the future. Richard has been through downturns before. Keeping that workforce is one reason why he is successful now.
3.) Mostly through word-of-mouth, his yards have kept busy. One does not see him discount in periodicals or mailers - He is offering it through this forum, I believe, because he feels a comaraderie with many here.
4.) Moving inventory is cheaper than holding it, even if sometimes letting go at a loss.
5.) I don't know the tax structure in Europe well enough to specify but, were it in the US, a deal closed before the end of the year can make a huge difference in taxation depending on conditions the business owner has no obligation to reveal, particularly to adversarial querists.
6.) There may be a new product line he is clearing way for.
7.) Perhaps to maintain lines of supply, or even just to help his suppliers of raw materials, he is keeping them busy.
8.) Bearing in mind that a majority of Richard's clients are repeat buyers, the discount is mostly for them, in appreciation of their loyal following.
9.) Business may be so strong that with the looming downturn, this is the perfect opportunity to apply the coup de grace to some of the less prepared competition.
10.) Maybe it's just to set off people with apparent chemical imbalances...

All said, danke schön, Richard, for everything. Job well done!

By so far we had only complete illiteral replying (except for your valuable input).

The statement was by no means related to my products.
In fact we increased the prices by 8% a month ago.

It was thought as a hint, but of course failed.
Dumb nickels always fail to grasp a chance, they are too busy to search for the trap!

Again, buy now, if you want a custom made yacht! (I am a manufacturer, no custom, besides of prospect claims)

It is really a shame how many completely unprofessional dumb nickels raise their head here and comment on topics they have no clue about!

    Regards
    Richard

From what I've seen in the market, Richard is right. His example boat may or may not be for you, but from what I have seen in general used market price trends as well as raw material trends, now is the time. Same reason I chose to do a custom build now. It is the right time.

My mother died last year idiot
Followed by richard the dick's repetitive abusive drivel

    Correct
I am getting some materials up to 50% off
Aussie dollar at or near USD parity is giving huge discounts on imports
And failed boatbuilding yards has made the hourly rate for workers come down considerably.
I now have some pressuring me for work @ 40% off previous asking rates.
Glad I mothballed her for a couple of years, the final push is on, at a much reduced rate of $$$.

Same story here in the States as well.

I don't want to jinx it, but I have been finding materials 50% off retail as well. Also, I am finding out of work people with marine experience for $10USD per hour. $15/hr for highly experienced fiberglass workers.

Used boats are about as low as they will get right now, I think.

Couldn't be a better time to be getting into new boats, either buying or building. I think the prices will only go up from here.

Again you are posting absolute meaningless drivel

Post 1 you talk about building half priced boats
Then you claim you are not talking about your firm
    [IMG]

Now you follow up with some drivel about me being biased
What am I biased about exactly?
