    The UAE withdrew it application today because the US congress would not accept new proposed terms of operation. The UAE tried to assure congress that a certain percentage of upper management of the US ports would be US citizens, but that was not enough.

    I'd like to thank the members of congress for standing up for us, both the D's and the R's who worked together.

    Well I'll be congratulations to the USofA for a sensible decission at last (bet ol' shrub won't be liking that - his people can and do think and act wow!)
