What is the length of it ? It certainly appears to be an inboard displacement boat, if it was a commercial design, it could have been derived from something like Boden's boat plans, or " Build-a- boat" plans which were a couple of popular ones way back, that does appear to be a design some decades old.

It should be pointed out that "Hervey Bay" is an Australian location, so I'd guess if it is a professional design, it is more than likely a local one.

Any idea what it might have been used for ? Local pro fisherman ? Might just be a bodgie, knockabout creation by a handyman, and one of the kind.

What's the frame down the back, I wonder ? Someone might have used it to go after scallops.

The condition of it as regards rust, will determine what worth it may have, which would be pretty limited even if in good condition.
