Probably two, one Danforth 14lbs and one 9Lbs.

A lot of little work, like paints, fourth coat of oiling soup inside, bolt from underneath for the tie rod for the cabin top, and so on, had to be done before finishing the bottom planking. But three more planks each side is needed, should not take long. then the cleaning and first coat of coal tar.
The weather still good, I am lucky.

Pictures will follow as soon the bottom is done.

The weather is good now but I expect it will turn soon. Just don't fall anything else. It is too hard on the wife. :)

    The bottom planking is done.
It is roughly saw, in waiting to be faired to received the side planking.
The chine logs will be outside made when the whole planking is done.

the bottom looks great but what's going to keep the water out of the sides?

am I the only one to notice that?

I must have been sleeping when this thread started. Somehow I missed it.

Great job Daniel! This looks like a marvelous project. I wish I had your backyard. Living in a motorhome makes it difficult to build anything of size, the RV park would object. But I did build a rowboat on a picnic table. Anyway, You are making great progress.

Don't listen to these philistines about your socks. Those of us who live in cold damp climates know about keeping our feet waarm and dry. Here in the Pacific Northwest we even have a commercial on TV about the socks and sandals guy.

See I even wear mine when riding,
