Looking good. On the sills, did you bend straight pieces into place as you bolted them, cut them to shape, or find some pieces with a natural crown to begin with?

 

I took a 2 by 12 by 12 feet fir, cut to shape with the bevel for the side (the side of the house slope 4 degree inside) knotched for the posts and bolted.
I luted with neoprene.

The colors and lighting in the latest pictures remind me of opening an old beehive and seeing the different colors of honey: from light gold new honey, all the way to the dark amber old honey, that's starting to crystalize.

It's a very nice effect; I think you should make prints from some of the pictures to hang on the wall.

I love my girl, she is a trooper, never complain and always on the go for the boat when necessary, and when she can. While I am building, she mow the lawn, do the grocery, take care of the house, so I just have to built a boat. And that help too.

Yep. You've seen how banks, office buildings, hotels and the like often have groups of three paintings or prints on the lobby walls, I'm sure. And people do the same in their homes... I think the last three photo's, blown up in size and framed, would make a great-looking group on a wall.

It would almost be abstract art, especially to people who didn't know what they were looking at.

The limbers holes are cut. the garboard plank after been traced and saw with the bevel is back for a try.

He can access all the bilge he'll ever need on the internet.

Yes it is the Falun red. This one is linseed oil based with few component, the drying time is two weeks. I find it very good, since it can be topped with creosote oil and they are compatible, even if one is petroleum the other vegetal.
But I mix all my linseed, pine tar of Falun red with kerosene, and never find any problem.
Beside checking time to time my bilge on the internet, some access will be on the deck outside the cabin trunk on the form of small 10" round watertight hatches, and inside the cabin trunk, two squares watertight hatches.
the access will be not really possible but to check and pump, and small cargo space will be possible.
The ventilation of the bilge will be with four, two at each end, cowl vent.
