Tks. About time: they've been together almost seven years, including his Army stint in Korea, and he formally proposed last summer. At the rate they're going, I might have some grandkids by the time I hit my eighties...

 

Had a phone call from the prodigal son Dwaine and his wife Dani the other day; they're expecting a daughter in a few months. So God willing, I'll be a granddaddy before I hit the ripe old age of 71. There's no particularly rational reason for how happy that makes me, but I'm not going to fight the feeling...
