Breaking down OMC Cobra ?

    Has anyone ever completly removed an omc drive, I down to the transom sheild and the interior componets exhaust, steering and trim pump.
    I was wondering if I had to remove the pivot assem, in order to take the entire shield off. There are only two nuts visable from the inside.

    My repair manual doesn't have removal down to this level. Just thought I would ask in case there is an easy removal process that might not be obvious, at first glance.

    I hope to be turning wrenches this weekend

    Any thoughts?
