surface drive quality control

    Hi every body,

    Does any one know what tests and inspection are considered for surface drive propulsion as factory manufacturing test (FAT) and sea test (especially for steering and trimming parts)? What are usual tests for this kind of system?

    Tests are part of the design process. They depend on what that design is, including sales price. The engineer that design it is the person best qualified to set the parameters of the tests.
