    Hi there,
Looking to build the 15¨ Montauk at home. Are there any lines drawing of the hull available of the Montauk or clones?

Which country are you 'North of N-E' in?

If you can find a second hand Montauk 15 there, then that would be much easier than trying to build a new one from plans.
If you are absolutely determined to build one, and you can find a second hand boat that is for sale cheap, you could use this as a male mould for your new boat perhaps?

Hi there BajanSailor. Nothing on marketplace in Quebec. Making a plug is a lot more work for a single boat build... But you are correct, restoring one would be the way to go if in good shape. This is my retiring projet!

You might not find a BW 15 in your neighborhood, but they are frequently sold used down in the USA.
Save yourself a lot of money and time, not to mention the toxic fumes and itching dust that is a big factor in any build.
I like Whalers too, in fact I still have the 13’ that I bought in 1970!
There’s some discussion on the topic right below this in “similar threads”, and likely much more with a thorough search.
