I'm planning to design a yacht around 15 metres. I am willing to know about the arrangement of it.

    Thank you

First I would ask you to list out your 110Volt AC appliances (us 110V) Exp, heater, air cond., TVs
range/ oven, hood with fan, refrigerator/freezer, water heater, lights etc...etc...Then do the same for 12 volt DC (us) You need to know what all these separately draw on each system. Then we can discuss panels and loads and design. there ARE 100s of books out there so tell us your level of knowledge re: electrical systems and how it works so that we do not refer you to books way above your level of current knowledge.

There will also be 240V AC. Electrical layout is done at the final stages of design. Interior layout, machinery, etc. will determine where wiring, outlets, junction boxes, breakers and other equipment goes. Also, you need a power survey to calculate wire gauges and types. Can you post the design or at least the SOR?
