    Thanks for the Fastbond 30 tip pcfithian. I'll check if this available on the NZ market. Winter is gone and I never even started the project - maybe summer will motivate me!

    You may find a different water based contact cement available in your market, test to see how it holds up. I have only used the Fastbond 30 and can attest that it works very well for bonding 1/8" Luan or Meranti to XPS foam.
