vinylester sanding coat

Does anyone know if surfacing agent will work with vinylester resin?
I want to put a finish on my VE layup, and would like to make the final coat tack free for sanding purposes.

Thanks, guys, I thought it was probably ok, but couldn't find it in writing. Will put it to the test in the morning!

 

paraffine solution in styrene, which is what you guys call wax, indeed works fine. But there are curing agents that make the VE cure non-tacky.

 

I too have wonered about this. We are building cat hulls over a male mold and I thought about using wax to make it sand better and sooner but am worried about wax contamination for additional fairing. Is this not a concern? What might the other curing agents be?

VE cures pretty hard and tackless anyways compared to ISO poly. I use it all the time and find it ok to sand. I would not put the wax in it. JMO
