There are plenty. What material? What's your preferred region?

Egyptian shipyards have a lot of experience from building vessels for red sea dive operators and they offer good value for your money. Just importing technical components might be somewhat tricky - but you could have the hull plus machinery built there and then go anywhere in the mediterranean for the rest.
Simply google around for red sea diving operators and send them a mail to find out where they had their vessels built.

This would be my choice, Peter. I have worked a lot with them and they have the people, facilities and experience for big boat wooden construction.

    Cheers,

You might clarify if you want space where you can build it yourself or if you want someone who can build it for you.
