Just got this 30' open bridgedeck I want to put a cabin on. Because she is narrow hull I need/ want to keep it light, so was going to go all foam, but seeing as the old chap that built it has put angle all along the cross beams and hulls, I am not sure about laying foam on the angle. Maybe ply floor and go up from there in foam?? Any thoughts would be great to hear.

Is this going to be a sailing cat or a power cat?
Re installing a cabin on a bridgedeck between the hulls, have the hulls got enough buoyancy to support all this extra weight?
Can you maybe post a photo of the complete boat, and a sketch showing what you intend to build re the cabin structure please?
