Life outside the gate !! there sure is !

I truly believe that there is life outside the fiberglass shed ... I know it must be there

Yip life goes on outside the gate !! i had a interesting weekend ! Shanghai is a interesting place and am going back again a few weeks time for another look at the things we missed seeing . china has so many little allys and back streets just off the main part of the cities its where the reall people live and work . amazing !! could spend the rest of my life wandering and only see a small fraction of whats here . Yeah !!

Its like i pointed out every one was saying the same thing in a differant way but the message wasnt sinking in !! . i get sick of holding peoples hands at times . i have that nagging feeling what about me ??
i learned everything i know on my own . it started as a interest that turned into a passion and became my full time job and my interest and my hobby and just kept me going and going and i have been able to travel and work and meet interesting people along the way .
I like to help people specially people that are struggling and finally they see the kight and the balls drop and they get the message and run with there gut feelings . but it just wasnt happening , it was going know where and getting no where . Maybe its to simple !! some people cant cope with simple . they always waiting for the surprise the part where it gets complicated . Its not like that at all . he may have lots of knowledge but its not being put to any kind of use its like theres no co-ordination between head and hands . disfunctional is the word ! any way other things are calling .

While we are being blunt at this point,maybe its time to introduce a couple of considerations.How about the ethics of working with a splashed mould?And while we are at it why don't we get on to the matter of selling boats in a European country without a CE mark and with no reference to the Recreational Craft Directive?
I have no problem with teaching people a bit about the techniques of producing boats,the difficulty comes when those of us who operate within the legal framework have to compete with the cowboys.

If it was going to take insults to make you get wild and pissed off and really get you motivated then that where i would go !!
Some times it takes the odd put me down to stimulate the brain and get that flash of inspiration and clear the skys . like lightning and thunder . always clears the bad weather . Sorry !!!

If you could be standing along side me at my work seeing and watching what a bunch of surposed proffessionall chinese laminators are doing you would want to hand me the baseball bat to beat them up .
These guys been working for years and learned nothing !! there work ethics are appalling and talk about lazy !!! I had enough of batting my head for the past two years and leaving here at xmas !! either another job but a whole new setup making small boats plus some 10 metre fishing boats and in a differant city in China or possible korea when i finally get to see my korean friend in nz in January .
your mistakes were nothing compared to what these people do and keep doing over and over again .
Dont throw your hands up and say i dont like you !!, but if what i said and did would have opened the box and got you on the path to sussess i would do it all over again a thousand times !!

Tell it like it is and dont spare the verbs or what ever ! you think im trying to make myself look good you couldnt be further from the truth . i tell it like i see it !!
Mental block or a impractical person what ever !,you have been feed more information than you will find in a shelf load of books ever printed and yet you still cant get it right !! wheres your head at ?? what do you think about ?? what are you really good at !!! i hope you not one of those computer game fruit cakes !! what ever it is maybe that will give us a clue to find the missing lead we can build on and push the right buttons !!

If you were in the army you'd be told to drop on the floor and give me 5o push ups ! so get started !!and when you finished be on the parade ground full battle gear in 45 minutes and if your late you get another 50 push ups added for every minute you're late , like it or not you will learn or else !!
Obviously you never been in a life threatening situation where if you make one mistake or wrong choice your history !!
Have you ever been shot at ?? i have a few times !! ,once in my own home sitting by the fire watching TV and if i had got out of my chair when the first shot came through the window i would have been hit in the side of the head with the second bullet when it went out through the lounge wall into the house next door , it passed just half a arms length away between my wife and myself .

Did you follow the guy that infused his boat and it turned turtle . managed to keep him posting and he and every one here learned a lot . I learned a lot and i still dont like infusion !! but that just me .

I have a really interesting day coming up this week the shanghai composits show is on and its attracts people from all over china . some of the stuff on display last year was works of art and never seen anything like it before of since . lots marine stuff and automotive and industrial and tools by the truck load resin and gelcoats and demos i was there 5 hours last time and only had time to skip past some of the exibits !!

Come on whacker get with the program mate!!its show , tell and learning time !!

how much do you have to spoon feed ? do you have to sit and write a complete blow by blow story and hold there hand all the way from the time they open there eyes in the morning till they close there eyes at night !! uncool!!! uncool is people that cant think for themselves . in a life death situation the never get hit because others are protecting them . in my life time i never had anything handed to me , what i know is what i watched others doing and asked a few questions and learned the rest myself.
i lost countless hours of sleep and bent over backwards till my head touched the floor almost for this guy , hes got to be on drugs or a acoholic or had a head injury but nothing seems to get through not one single thing so draw your own conclusions,

Some people have the luxury of leaving a problem for a while, and maybe they will get their passion back, maybe they will find another one.

You are lucky to have a real enthusiasm in your life, but everyone has to be interested in different things.

Just relax, and enjoy your own interests, and let others find their own way. You helped out a lot, and maybe he will get back to it, or maybe not.

Well mate, you did your best, the thread history is there for others to learn from, whacker has been defeated by the process & given up......... it's not for everyone apparently, that's what makes boat builders special, this is the "Dead Horse Thread"....... not worth flogging any further.
