Hey Guys first time on here, but I must say wow there is allot of great information.

I just bought a 1987 Regal 23ft fixeruper. While my father in law works on the engine I am going to work on replacing the floor. I was thinking of using gelcoat? Was not sure if anyone has done this, also how it came out. Not to mention I don't even know what type of tools or supplies I would need. I am trying to get a nice smooth surface almost like a plastic look something like you would see on an open fisher boat. Thanks allot for all your help in advance anyone.
