We made recently a survey for a client from Denmark who wants to build up a yard in Asia for catamaran serial production. We found him a very good location, which offers the following:

    1) Can be owned by foreigner a 100%, no local partner needed.

    2) No Vat, no import/export duties for export oriented boat or ship building, double tax avoidence agreements with 51 countries.

    3) Best supply logistics! Best shipping possibilities for any size of boat!

    4) Cheap land and set up costs! Cheap labour! Land can be owned by foreigners and is a beautiful location.

    5) Low corruption!

In addition we have experienced expats who can be employed as manager and ProMaritim can take care of the whole set up.

This survey was made on our own costs! Any party who is interested in setting up a yard in Asia should contact us and will have to sign a non-disclosure agreement prior to getting additional information.
