    Hi,
Can any body suggest me about a procedure that I am working on. Instead using clay model I have made a boat panel from pvc board and colored it with gelcoat. Later I will sand and polish into a glossy finish when the gel coat cures. I tested on fiberglass sheet outcome, finishing is quite smooth not glossy though. Then I want to to make the first production negative mold with the dice. And another question is it ok to use silicon spray instead of bees wax as mold release... thank you.:)

Silicone spray will cause a lot of troubles. Use demolding wax. There are some that are waterborne and have a small silicone content.
