An unidentified Naval Commander, speaking on the condition of anonymity, claims that it was necessary to make and leak raunchy videos as the repeal of Don't Ask, Don't Tell would suggest.

And for this a good commander will be cashiered. Balderdash!

Some of us don't think he did. I think I'll vote for him for elected office, maybe president. He has to be better than the one we have now.

Why? Because he made raunchy videos? If that's your definition of a good leader, there are plenty of professional **** producers, directors and actors around. Go vote for one of them.

I'm not particularly shocked by the descriptions I've read of the videos. Among other things, flyboys calling Surface Warfare Officers fags is a longstanding Navy tradition. But making a permanent video record of that sort of nonsense was using questionable judgment, to say the least.

    Yeah, he's getting cashiered.

Defiantly a serious lack of judgment there.

I think they guy should stand as commander. His video was an attempt to rally the troops and get people to enjoy the often sucky conditions they have to deal with on a daily basis. A little humor injected into life for the crew.

That's the kind of guy you want to serve under and would go the extra mile for, IMO.

Reminds the situation where one guy starts looking around in a room full of people and then shouts "Hey, what is this stink? One of you must have farted!". Well, guess whose fart was that...
