I know what it is, but when it was made- NOT!

    People have been posting "mystery boats" , looking for information, so here is my question:

    This is a Lyn-Craft Model 1900 Seabreeze Contessa, from about 1958-1960. Might be the last one left. It has a number plate on it in the port motor tray,
    # 5181836.

    Anybody know how they numbered these things back then?

    It's definately a project boat- hope to get it floating again next summer!

    That top looks like it was inspired by the Ford 'Squarebird' (58-60 Ford Thunderbird). So I'm pretty sure you're in the neighborhood with your guess about when it was made.
