What software for designing a multihull

    I've done a pretty good search of this Forum and others looking for answers to what is probably a well trodden path without really having a successful conclusion. Can you recommend a free ( or not so expensive ) software package for the following ( or perhaps it maybe a series of software packages )

    Design (3 D ) model a catamaran or trimaran, run computer predicted performance models, then plot cross section stations suitable for building the said design.

    The more Windows type interface the better as most programs I use are based around standard Windows drawing packages

    Having looked on the Delftship website, I can't find any where I can download the free version, any ideas where I can download it from ?

    Look at Michlet and it's genetic optimization routine, Godzilla.

    I have not looked into the multihull features yet but there are example files you can probaly adapt to do what you want.
