    Hey guys,

i built a positive mold using XPS.
The next step should be laminating..
I wanted to use epoxy, but a friend said there can be problems if the roof color is supposed to be black?

What is your opinion on this?

Black can reach around 185F in the sun, I've heard higher, but never experienced it in testing. And with foam behind it as an insulator maybe more.

So if the XPS can handle that it will work.

Service temp max for XPS per Owens Corning is 165F. It doesn’t take much to heat n change, so I’d say it is a NO.
