I recently picked up a KMV 480 Center Console , no motor or trailer, cheap though, can anyone enlighten me as to how the bilge pump would work in this boat , there is a thru -hull to the bottom of boat and a small "well" that drains from a steel pipe, ( i will try and post pics) , when well is full it drains out rain water to top of pipe; will this drain underway? or fill the boat,
I plan to put my 40hp honda on it , any ideas of how it will run ,
no spec plate on boat any help would be great, it's my winter project

    Welcome to the forum Martin.

It sounds like you're describing the transom drain, which typically is plugged when underway.
