Best type of ship for my situation

    Yes it is maintenance and docking fees who discourage the owners.
    The constant expenditure can even strain the family relationship.

    The local season for a first class 40ft type motorboat generates about one hundred and seventy five thousand euros.

    Sounds like a lot of money ? Think again. Booking fees and marketing knocks 25 percent off....... insurance, dockage, maintence chews thru another Big wedge. Dockage is the killer. Active markets go hand and hand with high dockage fees. The competition for dock space is intense
    A skilled hands on guy can make a decent profit even after the government takes its share

    Its just like any other small business....its not easy to be good.
