    Diamond Tools

    Hi,

My husband used Diamond Tooling (http://www.gandtrack.co.uk/products/diamond-products) and got in touch with a company called Gandtrack. They have a range of suitable products and helped us (him) out a lot! It was best that I stayed clear of any tooling!! Hope this helps!

Welcome to the forum, Row 4 Life.

Was your husband cutting fiberglass laminate?

Those look like excellent cutting tools.

The continuous rim diamond blade is THE tool for cutting composite laminates, further in angle grinders a 125mm blade will provide mush better directional control than the 100 if your cuts aren't too intricate.

A laminate trimmer or cutting knife work best. They are inexpensive and are designed for that.

I believe the OP is referring to cured fibreglass laminate, not Formica !

For fiberglass a circular saw with a 40 tpi blade works great for straight cuts, I treat it like wood, jigsaw, router, Saw-alls etc... Bits/Blades don't last very long, and used many teeths. The vibrating tools work great to make small cuts or finish ends.
