How much steel have this tanker?

Pls. can more experienced say me next estimate: How much steel have this tanker? If this tanker go in demolition.... I know all is not steel (have equipment etc.), but need someone more experienced say me how much pure steel have this ship? and some GENERAL advices how calculate this alone?

It's hard to calculate something like this from information you have entered. Too small data about ship. But i think the weight is about 6500 tone - maybe

The lightship weight is 6328 tonnes = LIGHT DISPLACEMENT = LDT

That is the weight you will sell to the scrap yard

Not all of the 6238 tonnes is steel - but most of it is steel - say 4500 tonnes

Rough estimate for a tanker of this size is 100 kg steel for every cubic metre of LBP x B x D. But it depends on age.

So 0.1 x 164 x 22.05 x 12.05 = 4357 tonnes

The other "weights" GROSS and NET are not weights - they are volumes - measure of the ship size. The DEADWEIGHT is a weight but is not something you can sell to the scrap yard because it is mostly cargo.

Other way to check the lightweight is to subtract the deadweight from the displacement.
