    hi i am pavel from bangladesh; and new in this forum;;;
    would you people help me by telling about any software by i can do my GA plan(general arrangement plan) ? I use maxsurf academic for my designing; then import into Autocad;;; but I dont want do do the GA plan in autocad....
    can any one suggest me?

    Hi to all, I think you forgot the NAPA system in your poll.
    OK it's an high end software but it's also the software used by many of the biggest shipyard in the world and by many of the most important Register Companies too.
    I think NAPA should appear in your poll also because represent a different philosophy of inputing the hull geometry, infact with NAPA I can input the points directly "on the hull" without moving control points outside of it.

    Hi to all,

    I want to ask for your opinion for the calculation of Hydrostatic and Stabilty which software will you prefer,
    the rhino with rhinomarine plug-ins or the maxsurf? which one can do better with several functions in terms of flexibility and versatility

    if you can go with hydromax for maxsurf, really complete stability software, i just check the videos on their website is very updated software.

    GHS tend to be more recognized as a "standard", but hydromax can do what GHS does and in my opinion is way easy to interact with (Hydromax).
