This is very true and being reported in a Sunday newspaper with pictures.

Our police recently pulled of a suspicious looking car in Kwa-zulu Natal (close to Durban) and was shocked to the bone when checking it out.

Inside the 1992 FIAT UNO was not only the driver and his passenger but also two full grown cows and wait for it, two adult goats as well:eek:

Beat you to it Wynand! Being a Durbanite myself I noticed this item and posted it here. Would love to see the pictures though - have you got a link for us?

    All the best!

Overloaded vehicles? Many years ago when I was a traffic cop we stopped a 16 seater minibus taxi and out crept 42 passengers! Still, two cows and two goats beats that hands (or is it hooves) down! :D

You can get 16 in a short wheel based Landrover (15 para's and a matelot - I was that matelot, don't ask!!)

Tuks what does this 'trauma debriefing' for the cows and goats consist off? does it entail the use of a lot of curry powder, some large pots and a large spit, complete with bonfire by any chance!

I may be mistaken, but it looks like an early Toyota Hilux bakkie when the brand was still the famous "white horse" - still doing what it does best;) ;)
