Don't get me started with cinder blocks, I just got a new 500 kg bag of mortar powder. Over 200 blocks yet to lay :p

You have my sympathy, but I thought you were putting a wood floor in your boat to save weight. Or is it a submarine?

You can see a cinder block in one or two of my building pics, they make a fine weight. But when I add mortar to the mix, I'll be making a painting booth/room to my workshop. Local fire regulation says I have to have a 60 minute fire proof structure if I want to use solvent based coating products. The workshop itself is rated 30 minutes and has two layers of gypsym board on the walls and roof. So I have to build a stone box inside the workshop to use proper coatings.
