Beebe Power Calculation

    Sorry if This sounds confusing.
    1. The scans I made were from Beebes book. The formula I posted was on a document which i will copy the relevent parts and post them.
    2 I split the formula In two Friction and wave parts The whole formula is
    0.00307(FnSV^2.825 +b(D^.666/LWL)*V^5 in knots Giving EHP. The coefficient b is given as about 0.5 for merchantmen 0.4 or better for warships.
    I do not wish to confuse anyone further but I have a spreadsheet with a formula for b and I think I have produced a better formula for b myself. The formula above seems to give similar results to the Beebe graphs.
