Longtailed Boats and History.

    Has any one done research on Longtailed boats of the World.The image shows what could be the first racing outboard motor engine offered for sale to the public at a Paris Exhibition in about 1900 from which grew the proliferation of these machines through the French Colonies and beyound.There could possibly be more of this type of propulsion used than any other system.
