    Hello all .I am new to your web site,i am looking for plans to build my own boat ,looking to build about 20 to 25 foot fishing boat for my self and friends ,so some good advice would be a lot of help.A bit about my self ,i work for a company that build van conversion ,like taxis,fridge van,mobility conersion,mini buses,so iam used to useing ,wood, steel,carpets,fiber glass,gel coating,i was looking to make wooding ribs then ply 6mm and then fiber glass and then gel coat ,will try to put pic of the kind of boat i want to build cheers Ray

    it is far less costly to buy, espcially used, that to build. Only build if you like creating something with your hands, and you can not buy what you want.

    for a modern design best to buy plans from a reputable designer. There are lots of free plans for "traditional" boat designs, but you will be on your own if you want to update teh contruction methods and materials.

    Hello ,has anybody built the DOUBLE EAGLE ,i like the look of this boat ,ps wear can i get the cheapes plans

    If you are going to go with the Glen-L double eagle, pay for his plans. You get what you pay for; if anyone else is offering them for less they're likely pirated.

    god that boat looks good and the plans are cheaper than the one i like .Cheers for that mate
    and like you said you can make it longer
